4" Intertap Stainless Steel Faucet Shank w/ Self Closing Spring - Kegerator Beer

Description

Turn your Intertap faucet into a self-closing faucet with the use of this faucet spring. Forces the tap handle back to the closed position when you let go. This spring is designed to work with the Intertap Stainless Steel shanks, though we have found it also works several other shanks.
Type 304 Stainless Steel Construction.
Not compatible with Flow Control faucet models or other brands of faucets
Picture 2, shows it with the compact shank for Kegerator towers and a faucet. We can substitute it out for this short shank if wanted, be sure to leave us a note at checkout if you would rather have that short shank, otherwise we always ship with the 4" shank per title.

Comes with a back nut, plastic collar, hex nut, and a 1/4" barb. Requires a 1" hole saw for installation. When set in place, the shank will only have about 2 1/8" of length to pass through your wall or fridge door, due to the length of the collar and back nut.
Installation note: On a fridge there is generally no coolant lines running through the door but please check to see there are no lines connecting the door and the rest of the refrigerator. To test for coolant lines on a freezer start with a warm freezer then plug the unit in with the lid open. You should be able to see the lines form condensation on the inside of the freezer where there are lines running. Please still use caution when drilling.
